We’re increasing our sustainability with Zellar!

We’re proud to announce we have joined Zellar, a sustainability platform designed to help us measure, plan, activate, report and share our sustainability journey.

Zellar makes it easy for organisations to start their sustainability journey and take climate action, helping them to calculate and understand carbon emissions and build an achievable plan to reduce them, based on their size and sector.

Using Zellar, we will be able to record every sustainable action – whether it’s reducing emissions, switching to green energy or offsetting carbon. There is a public profile with a live sustainability score that demonstrates our sustainability progress.

Ruth Terrington, Operations Director of Dobson & Parnell and the Hooked on Group said: “When we heard that the North of Tyne Combined Authority had teamed up with Zellar to offer businesses free one-year access to the SMART sustainability platform, we jumped at the chance.

“Reducing our carbon footprint and becoming more sustainable has always been high on our agenda however having access to a tool that helps us calculate our carbon emissions then build an achievable plan to reduce them is a game changer, it also helps to reduce our energy bills too!

“The platform is easy to navigate and guides us in building a sustainable action plan, adding a bank of tasks including reducing food waste, educating your team and engaging in community initiatives.

“Each completed action earns us points, contributing to our ‘Zellar score,’ enabling us to monitor and share our progress on our live profile.

“I can highly recommend joining Zellar as it has really helped us understand more about our carbon omissions and help us contribute to our regions net zero targets.”
