Back by popular demand we are delighted to welcome Adventurer Phil Kite from The Adventurers Drinks Company, home to amazing drinks with authentic stories of adventure and exploration.After many years managing several successful heavy engineering businesses, founder Phil Kite took up rowing thanks to a chance conversation over a garden fence. Since then, Phil has gone on to win several rowing accolades and in 2018 led a team that rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in a Guinness World Record Time. In 2023 he completed a second Atlantic row, supporting one of the Northeast’s leading mental health Charities.Phil will be telling us all about his exciting expeditions and how the Adventurers Drinks Company was born.This will be followed by tasting of three new drinks being launched in 2024, the first a gin hand crafted with botanicals from all seven continents, distilled in County Durham, followed by two beers, an English and an American Pale Ale, brewed in Northumberland. Whether you’re a seasoned beer connoisseur or simply someone who enjoys trying new flavours, this beer is sure to intrigue your taste buds and leave you craving for more.The event starts at 11am where you’ll receive an arrival drink, a tutored gin tasting, beer tasting, 2-course lunch, a glass of house wine and coffee/tea for just £37.50 per person.
