We’ve Won Gold! Dobson & Parnell Awarded GOLD Green Tourism Award

We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve been awarded the GOLD Green Tourism Award – the highest accolade given by Green Tourism, the UK’s leading sustainability accreditation for the hospitality sector.

Sustainability has always been close to our hearts at Dobson & Parnell, and this award is a fantastic recognition of the work our team has been doing behind the scenes to reduce our environmental impact and contribute positively to our local community and the planet.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’ve introduced a range of initiatives, including reducing our energy, water, and waste usage, switching to all-electric company vehicles, and minimising deliveries to lower emissions. We support active travel by providing bike storage for staff, donate surplus food to local charities, host green volunteering days, and work exclusively with suppliers who meet our strict sustainability standards.

As our Operations Director Ruth Terrington explains, “Achieving the Gold Green Tourism Award is a huge milestone for us. It’s a testament to the passion and hard work of our team, who are committed not just to creating exceptional dining experiences, but doing so in a way that’s mindful of the environment and our community.
