Gold award win at the North East Tourism Awards

We were delighted to celebrate winning Gold in the ‘Taste of the North East’ category at the prestigious North East England Tourism Awards last month. The accolade recognises the restaurant’s outstanding use of local produce, creative menus, and consistently high levels of customer service – a true reflection of the excellence found in the North East’s hospitality scene.

Known for pushing the boundaries of British and European cuisine, Dobson & Parnell combines award-winning food with modern elegance and old-school glamour in one of Newcastle’s most stunning dining rooms – earning its place in both the Michelin Guide and Good Food Guide for several years running.

Dobson & Parnell is part of the Hooked-On Group, which also owns popular North East venues Blackfriars and Hinnies – all known for their commitment to sustainable, locally sourced food and for helping shape the region’s culinary reputation.

Ruth Terrington, operations director, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been recognised with the Gold award for Taste of the North East. It’s a real testament to the passion and hard work of our entire team – from our chefs who champion seasonal and sustainable ingredients, to our front-of-house staff who create a warm, memorable experience for every guest. We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant regional food scene and can’t wait to celebrate this achievement with our customers – old and new – over a glass of something special.”
